| There are many ways to earn points in the “Points
for Pints” program. As you know, you
automatically receive credit every single
time you donate, plus any Bonus Points from
your “Points for Pints” scratch-off
card. |
 But
you can also build your point total by doing
other activities that either help us save
resources, or help us recruit more blood donors.
For example, you can earn 40 points for recruiting
a new donor through our new "Ambassadors
for Life" program. To enroll (and earn
15 points in the process), click
here. You will receive a special toolkit
designed to help you ask your friends, neighbors
and family members to give the "Gift
of Life". |
| You can also earn 20 points instantly by
becoming a "Champion for Life".
All you do is make
a pledge to donate at least 2 times in
the current calendar year. |
| In addition to all this, we award you with
50 points every time you reach a new gallon
milestone (the equivalent of 8 whole blood
donations). Plus, if you achieve the rare
accomplishment of donating 6 units in a calendar
year (also known as "Sixer Club"),
you will receive a 25 point bonus. You even
earn 10 points for making an online appointment
or completing a pre-sign card for your next
appointment--with the added bonus that you
will be removed from recruitment lists until
your scheduled date! |
| Below is a complete list of activities
that can earn you points. While some points
will appear on your history immediately, please
allow up to 7 business days for most
points to post to the web site. For
pre-sign, please allow 4 weeks. Points for
annual accomplishments such as Sixer Club
will be posted in January of each year. |
